No restocking fees apply. Please understand that original condition means no alteration of the item
in anyway. Well okay, you can open the box and look at it, but no touching! Just Kidding!
Out of Stock / Sold One of Kind Items -
We do our best to keep the website up to date on what is in or out of stock. However, since this is done by hand, we can and do sometimes miss things. We will let you know if your
item is out of stock and if it will be back ordered. You are welcome to email us before placing an order to see if the item is in stock.
Hand select facet rough is one of a kind. We do have a semi-automated system for marking rough sold. However, if an item is purchased by paypal, we have to mark it sold by hand. This sometimes leads to a stone having been sold but not marked sold. We do our best to avoid this, but we hope you will understand when it does happen.
Warranty -
PrettyRock.com offers a one year warranty on our gemological equipment. If a product is found to be defective, we will, at our discretion, either repair or replace the defective product. The warranty is for parts and labor only, and covers defects in material and workmanship. It does not cover owner misuse, abuse, accident, or failure to provide reasonable maintenance. Return shipping is the responsibility of the purchaser. We will pay for shipping the repaired or replaced product back to you.
This warranty does not supersede the manufacturer’s warranty for items such as GemOro microscopes and UltraTec products. Please follow the warranty instructions provided by those manufactuers.
Free (Or Almost) Stuff -
On occasion, we will put up something for free or very low price! We do this just because it's fun, and we like to give something back to our customers. This is done on a 1 (one) item per person per week basis. No you can not order all the free stones that are up! If more than one stone is ordered, we will include the stone that shows up first in your shopping cart. If the rest of the order does not meet our $20 minimum, you will have to replace your order. We reserve the right to change our mind, or exhange for a different item. This rarely happens, but we thought we better put up the legal stuff any way. It's a free (or practically free) rock. Please don't make us regret offering them.
