It's been announced on other lists that Jeff Graham, well-known faceter and designer, passed away in his sleep Saturday night. I haven't heard any other details.

I still haven't heard anything more. His death was described by a friend of the family as "unexpected", and I know people that had exchanged email with him that day.

I tried searching the on-line Tucson papers, but didn't find anything.

Jeff tended to be controversial, but no one denies his contributions to faceting.

This is indeed a sad thing. I enjoyed his designs, and always worked them with confidence knowing that they were tried & true.
I personally consider this a loss to the faceting community.

I am shocked and saddened by his passing.  His contributions to our field are invaluable.  Our prayers are with his family as they mourn him.  I truly hope they know how important he was to the faceting community and how much our hearts go out to them.

Has anyone heard anymore on this? I can't get an answer at his house.

Here's the obituary:

The family has said that everyone is welcome to attend the funeral.

Now that this is almost a year old, has anyone heard what is happening?
His website is still up, and I'm wondering if any of his books will be availible eventually.

You can still email in orders, they have family friends who are helping with the business.  They are just processed a little slower than usual.

Okay, thanks.
I guess that "sorry we're not taking orders at this time" message fooled me into not trying.

The website still says "Sorry, we are not accepting any orders at this time." and none of the rough listings have been updated, so it's a little hard to know what to order.

The books are available at Starr Gems, http://www.silversupplies.com/catalog/books/faceting.shtml

Is there plans to update the rough listings, and have they been (or will they  be) selling any?

Pricey stuff, but there's also things I've not seen anywhere else.

Hi Oscar,
Anything that you would want rough wise Beth & Dev can most likely get for you - if not then there are places that anything can be found.

I've been studying their collection intensely, and definately have my eye on several pieces for my next impending rough purchase spree.
But those Morengo Spinals on Graham's site have my brain in purple convulsions...
