Does anyone have this machine?
Pros', con's.
It's just become available for purchase over here and interested in comments. Doesn't have the Novas but another brand of soft backs. I have been told the Novas will fit no probs. The soft backs that are on it, do you think they are as good as the Novas or not?
Thanks in advance for comments.

I haven't tried the Nova machine - but I do have a Cab King, and I love it. The arbor is great with NO wobble, and the plumbing is great.
 Good machine.

Nova machine? Do they have one?  Huh?
LOL, was actually meaning the Nova wheels hambi, SO you've stuck with the soft backs that came on the machine then?
Did yours come with this set up and the flat wheel on the end?
 6” x 1-1/2” #80 and #220 metal bonded diamond grinding wheels, (4) 6” x 1-1/2” diamond resin bond wheels, (1) each #280, #600, #1200, and #3000,
Seriously looking at this, much prefer this to a belt driven.
Plumbing. Noticed a water pump mentioned. This isn't to recirculate the water is it? I'm hoping it's just to pump the water from say a low lying water bin to the top of the wheels. Also, when using the flat wheel on the end, does this have a drip up top or do you just squirt water onto it?
Thanks for answering hambi.  Cheesy

Yes.
The end wheel/buff also has a squirter, and mine came with the diamond wheels.
The pump can be used for recirculating - but I use it for fresh water, and let the dirty water drain out to the street.

The street! Water the garden man or is it all rocks?  Cool
Yes, wanted to be sure it wasn't just for recirculating. Much prefer fresh, no cross contamination, also I like heated water.  Grin

hambi, I notice I can also get a trim saw attachment for this machine. Is that what you have or did you go for a stand alone unit? Just wondering how much stuffin around there'd be with it.

AHA, I can save half the price if we go this way compared to a stand alone.  Cheesy
Does it take long to change?
Just to clarify, Ok, just undo a nut but the other stuff mentions cutting platform base etc, is this like a fixed unit that just sits on top of the other base, you know, the water catching tray part etc of the cab unit itself on the right hand side?

It's a blade for the right side that replaces the buff pad. I don't use it, I have a bunch of saws, and I like my 10" for cab materials. You know - the one I can take outside, and clean with a hose! Cut about 2 kilos of boulder opals and you will know what I mean there. (wear a rubber apron, and don't stand right behind the splashguard!) Yuk.

and in my face...the machine did come with the blade - but no table attachment. Directions showed placing it onto the end shaft where the buff pad is.
I didn't bother to even worry over it. The blade is still in the box I belive.
