We offer the best shipping terms of any lapidary website or company! At least so far as we have surfed, shopped, and compared but we're pretty sure we're pretty good at shipping you pretty rocks at a rock bottom price!

Domestic Shipping

Our standard shipping is USPS at the fixed rate shipping charge is $5.85. We reserve the right to ship by means other than USPS if the cost of using the USPS is significantly higher than say UPS for a very heavy order.

Most items are shipped within 3-5 business days, unless other wise noted on product page. We can and do run out of things and because we don't have a sophisticated inventory system linked to our website, we'll be sure to let you know if we are going to be delayed in shipping your item and you have the option of cancelling or waiting patiently while we do everything we can to expedite your order. Also, heavier items may be delayed as we ship UPS Ground to reduce expenses.

Expedited Shipping - HURRY!

Put the word "EXPEDITE" and note that you aprrove the extra shipping charges involved in the comment field order to get FEDEX overnight shipping. By requesting expedited shipping, you are authorizing us to charge your card for FEDEX Overnight Air fee PLUS a $20 expedite fee. By requesting expedited shipping, you are authorizing this additional charge. We only use FEDEX for expedited orders. All rush orders must be received by 12pm EST in order to us to have a chance to fill the order that day. We are on Eastern Standard Time. We will notify you via email that we have received your rush order request and that we are fulfilling your request. If you don't hear back from us that day, then we were partying or sleeping. We will make every effort to respond if we can. Please check the front page of the website for important messages like, "Away in Tucson", or "Partying at Gem Shows", or "Stuck in the Mud looking for Rocks". :)

Overseas / International Orders

All overseas and international customers pay $25 flat rate shipping for up to 2 lbs, actual shipping costs for orders over 2 lbs. For orders over 2lbs, we will contact you for confirmation with the actual shipping and handling fee prior to billing you for your order. We will not bill you for the order until you confirm the total including the shipping and handling charge. For most European customers, I am 6 hours back from you and for Asian customers I am 12 hours back.

International orders are welcome and we want to provide the best possible service to our overseas customers. Orders are shipped USPS Global Express Mail. These precautions allow us to continue to serve our international customers. Some international orders may be allowed to use a credit card solely at our discretion.

You may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the package reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be paid by you. If you access this site from a location outside of the United States, you are responsible for compliance with all local laws.

Refused, Unclaimed Orders, Non-Deliverable Orders

If an order is, refused, returned or unclaimed by the customer due to customer refusal, customer negligence/absence, or customer providing incorrect shipping information, and the order is returned to us by USPS or Fed Ex, the order will be refunded less shipping charges and reshipping charges if applicable.
